Privacy policy
This policy covers twixen.com only. Our brand store at comfobeautys.lk is a separate website with its own policy, and purchases made there are covered by it, not by this page.
The short version
We collect what you type into a form and nothing else. There are no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels and no analytics on this website. We do not sell or share your information. You can ask us to delete what we hold, and we will.
What we collect, and when
Nothing is collected unless you send it. There is no account to create and no reason to identify yourself to read these pages.
If you use the contact or partner form
We receive your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message, along with the company and market fields on the partner form. The submission is stored in this website's database and a copy is emailed to us.
We also record the internet address the form was sent from. This is kept to stop automated abuse, not to identify you.
If you apply for a job
Applications do not stay on this website. When you apply through the careers page, your name, phone number, NIC number, email address, your answers to the questions set for that vacancy, and the CV you attach are passed straight to our internal HR system, where our hiring team works on them. This website keeps no copy of your application or your CV.
To stop one person or a robot flooding that system, this website keeps a count of how many applications have come from each internet address in the past hour. The addresses are stored as one-way codes that cannot be turned back into an address, they are used for nothing else, and each entry is discarded after an hour.
Cookies
This website sets one cookie, named twx_session, and only when you
open a page with a form on it. It holds a random value that lets us check a
submitted form actually came from our own page and not from somewhere else
pretending to be you. It carries nothing about who you are, it is not readable
by other websites, and it is discarded when you close your browser.
There are no analytics cookies, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers on this website. Nothing here reports your visit to Google, Meta or anyone else.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 we rely on two grounds. When you send an enquiry or an application, you are asking us to act on it, and we process what you sent in order to do that. Separately, we have a legitimate interest in keeping our systems free of automated abuse, which is the reason for the internet-address records described above.

We keep unsuccessful applications for twelve months so that we can come back to you when a suitable vacancy opens. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will delete yours immediately.
Who else sees it
Your information is seen by the people at Twixen Pvt Ltd who need it to answer you or assess your application. It is held on our website hosting and, for job applications, in our own HR system.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the company except where the law requires it.
What you can ask us to do
The Personal Data Protection Act gives you the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, and to object to how we are using it. You can also withdraw consent you have given.
Write to contact@twixen.com, or for anything to do with a job application, hr@twixen.com. We answer within twenty-one days. There is no charge.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may complain to the Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka.
Children
This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Keeping it safe
Connections to this website are encrypted. Access to the admin area requires a password, is limited to named members of staff, and every change is logged. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected people promptly if something goes wrong.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date shown at the top of the page.
